POSITION SUMMARY The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) maintains a strong presence throughout the Distribution Center, building relationships with associates and leaders while serving as a trusted resource for employee support, leadership coaching, and operational success. This role serves as a strategic and hands-on partner translating operational priorities into people strategies that drive business performance, workforce stability, associate engagement, and organizational effectiveness. The HRBP provides practical, business-focused guidance while ensuring compliance with employment laws, company policies, and HR best practices. Success in this role requires strong business acumen, sound judgment, and the ability to influence leaders while balancing the needs of the business and its associates. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Strategic HR Partnership: Serve as the primary HR partner to Distribution Center leadership, aligning people strategies with operational priorities, productivity goals, staffing needs, and business objectives. Partner with leaders to develop workforce strategies that support operational performance, navigate organizational change and business growth, and improve team effectiveness and leadership capability. Anticipate workforce risks and recommend proactive solutions to foster an engaged, high-performing culture.
- Talent Strategy & Workforce Planning: Partner with Operations leaders to develop staffing strategies that support current and future business needs. Lead or support initiatives involving workforce planning, recruiting strategy, onboarding effectiveness, internal mobility, succession planning, and leadership development. Support new hire integration . Evaluate staffing trends and recommend actions that improve hiring success, reduce turnover, and strengthen organizational capability.
- Employee Relations & Leader Support: Serve as the trusted HR advisor to both leaders and associates by providing timely, practical guidance on employee relations matters. Coach leaders on performance management, conflict resolution, attendance, corrective action, and policy interpretation. Conduct workplace investigations and recommend appropriate resolutions that are fair, consistent, and aligned with company values. Identify trends in employee relations, turnover, absenteeism, and engagement, partnering with leaders to implement proactive solutions that improve the workplace experience.
- Performance Management & Leadership Coaching: Coach leaders to build a culture of accountability, engagement, and continuous improvement. Partner with leaders to improve leadership effectiveness, support performance management processes, develop performance improvement plans, deliver effective coaching and feedback, navigate difficult conversations, and build strong, engaged teams.
- Associate Experience & Engagement: Maintain a visible and approachable presence throughout the Distribution Center, building trusted relationships with associates and leaders at all levels. Serve as a primary HR resource for associates by providing guidance, answering questions, and resolving workplace concerns. Promote a positive associate experience through regular interaction on the warehouse floor and participation in daily operations. Lead and support associate engagement initiatives, recognition programs, wellness activities, and site events that strengthen culture and reinforce company values.
- HR Operations & Compliance: Partner with HR support teams to ensure HR processes are executed accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with company policies and employment laws. Provide oversight and support for payroll and timekeeping, leave administration, benefits administration, HRIS accuracy and compliance reporting.
WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Primarily office-based within a distribution center environment, with regular interaction on the warehouse floor.
- Requires the ability to sit, stand, walk, use standard office equipment, and work on a computer for extended periods.
- May occasionally lift or move up to 20 pounds.
- Minimal travel; occasional travel for meetings, training, or business needs may be required.

- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 3+ years of progressive Human Resources experience.
- Experience supporting a distribution center, warehouse, manufacturing, retail operations, or other high-volume environment preferred.
- Strong employee relations experience, including workplace investigations and performance management.
- Demonstrated ability to influence leaders andoperateeffectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Working knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws
- Experience using HRIS and timekeeping systems.
