Description & Requirements

We are seeking a creative and highly-motivated postdoctoral associate to join our study mechanisms of tumor immunity. The Hacohen lab is a dynamic, multi-disciplinary group that studies immune mechanisms, immune diseases and develops the technologies to study and target cells and tissues. The ideal candidate should have demonstrated creativity and interdisciplinary approaches in their PhD.

Primary responsibilities:
Develop new approaches to understand tumor immunity
Work with computational biologists to study complex tumor microenvironment questions
Organize and accurately maintain written records of experimental procedures and data collection
Contribute to preparation of manuscripts resulting from data generated in research projects
Participate in lab and project related meetings

Requirements:
Ph.D. in biology or related field
Proven track record of critical scientific thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent interpersonal and collaborative skills.
Ability to work both independently and as a team with diverse scientists from a wide range of research expertise.
Outstanding verbal and written communication abilities.
Ability to adapt to and effectively manage changes in a fast paced and dynamic environment.
High level of initiative and leadership

The expected base pay range for this position as listed above is based on a 40 hour per week schedule. Broad provides pay ranges representing its reasonable and good faith estimate of what the organization reasonably expects to pay for a position at the time of posting. Actual compensation will vary based on factors including but not limited to, relevant skills, experience, education, qualifications, and other factors permissible by law.
