Posting Title: Garage Supervisor - Daytona Beach, FL

Location: Ocean Center {Daytona Beach, FL}

Base Pay: $16/hourly {w/awesome benefits!}

Shifts: Afternoon & Evening shifts are needed {10am-6pm} {4pm-11:30pm}



The Spirit of the Position:

The Garage Supervisor oversees the facilities of the garage & surface lots to ensure preservation of the location. The Ocean Center & Peabody host many events throughout the year to which we assist in the entire parking operations. The Garage Supervisor is depended on strongly during these events, also being responsible for all cashiers on duty replenishing their needs & assuring their safety at all times. This position requires someone who is excellent at multi-tasking, has high energy when needed & stays professional at all times. Must be willing to be on your feet for long periods of time, willing to work in all environmental elements & able to drive a golf cart respectively.

What will I do?

You will:



  • Ensures staff adheres to rules of conduct, policies and procedures at all times
  • Assist in establishing performance standards, recommending and implementing changes to procedures when necessary
  • Responsible for running any reports related to daily revenue, credit cards, garage data or other reports requested by management
  • Assists with periodic training as needed
  • Greet by/use name, be responsive and timely with correspondence and problem resolution, and develop a rapport with our clients



What it takes:

Education:



  • High school diploma or GED is required


Experience:



  • Supervisor experience is required
  • Strong customer service experience required
  • Security experience is a plus {or likewise}
  • Parking industry experience is preferred but not required


Skills:



  • Willingness to be flexible, open-minded & optimistic
  • Ability to handle challenging and at times, emotionally charged situations
  • Ability to speak, read, and comprehend the English language
  • Must always make good choices, think fast/independently when solving problems & stay firm on those choices {not easily persuaded}
  • Knowledge of Microsoft 365 applications
  • MUST be an honesty & trustworthy person


Physical Demands:



  • Willingness to work in all elements - heat, wind, rain, cold, etc.
  • Ability to lift, push and pull at least 30 pounds
  • Ability to stand, walk and run for extended periods of time
  • Ability bend, stoop, squat and lift frequently throughout a shift
  • Must have reliable transportation
