Position Summary

Touched by Type 1 is seeking an ambitious, relationship-driven, and results-oriented Partnerships & Development Manager to lead corporate sponsorships, individual giving, strategic partnerships, and event fundraising efforts.

This role is responsible for generating revenue, expanding community engagement, cultivating donor and sponsor relationships, and developing partnerships that advance the organization's mission. The ideal candidate is a strong relationship builder who is passionate about creating meaningful connections that drive awareness, participation, and financial support.

Key Responsibilities

Corporate Partnerships & Sponsorships

• Develop and grow local, regional, and national corporate partnerships
• Secure sponsorship revenue across organizational programs and events
• Create customized partnership opportunities aligned with sponsor objectives
• Identify, cultivate, solicit, and steward corporate sponsors
• Maintain strong sponsor relationships and renewal strategies
• Identify opportunities to increase sponsor investment and engagement annually
• Collaborate with organizational leadership to maximize partnership value and impact

Individual Giving

• Develop and implement annual giving strategies
• Cultivate and steward donor relationships throughout the year
• Grow and manage the recurring donor program
• Increase donor retention, engagement, and upgrades
• Develop and expand a mid-level donor pipeline
• Support donor cultivation activities, meetings, and stewardship efforts
• Work closely with leadership to identify and engage prospective donors

Event Fundraising

Provide fundraising leadership and revenue strategy for:

• Steps to a Cure
• Golfing Fore Diabetes
• Annual Conference
• Dancing for Diabetes

Responsibilities include:

• Sponsorship acquisition and stewardship
• Revenue goal development and fundraising strategy
• Committee engagement and volunteer leadership support
• Peer-to-peer fundraising growth initiatives
• Auction, raffle, and donation procurement
• Corporate team recruitment and participation
• Donor and sponsor engagement activities
• Event fundraising reporting and performance tracking

Strategic Partnerships

• Develop relationships with healthcare organizations and providers
• Build partnerships with industry leaders and corporate stakeholders
• Cultivate collaborative relationships with nonprofit organizations
• Identify mission-aligned partnership opportunities that support organizational goals
• Pursue opportunities that increase awareness, participation, education, and funding
• Represent the organization at community events, networking opportunities, and partnership meetings

Revenue Growth & Relationship Management

• Maintain an active pipeline of sponsorship, donor, and partnership prospects
• Track relationship activity, opportunities, and fundraising progress within organizational systems
• Collaborate with leadership to establish and achieve annual revenue goals
• Provide regular reports on fundraising performance, sponsorship activity, and partnership development
• Identify new opportunities for organizational growth and community engagement

Ideal Candidate

• Passionate about the mission of Touched by Type 1
• Proven experience in fundraising, sponsorship sales, business development, or relationship management
• Strong communication, presentation, and networking skills
• Comfortable soliciting sponsorships, donations, and partnership investments
• Highly organized and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and results-driven
• Skilled at building long-term relationships and creating strategic partnerships
• Experience with nonprofit fundraising, corporate partnerships, event fundraising, or donor development preferred

Location & Schedule

This is a remote position. Candidates must reside in Central Florida and be available to attend meetings, fundraising events, community engagements, and organizational programs as needed.
