Responsibilities:
As an Occupational Therapist (OT) on our team, you'll help patients regain the skills, confidence, and independence needed to participate fully in everyday life. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact through hands-on care, interdisciplinary collaboration, and individualized treatment that supports each patient's unique goals and recovery journey.
Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans utilizing evidence-based occupational therapy interventions to restore function, enhance independence, and improve participation in meaningful daily activities. Deliver comprehensive rehabilitative care for patients experiencing physical, cognitive, developmental, and psychosocial challenges across the lifespan. Design, implement, and oversee personalized rehabilitation programs that address each patient's physical, cognitive, emotional, social, and environmental needs. Empower patients and caregivers through education, support, and resource coordination to maximize independence and self-management. Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, case managers, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated, patient-centered care. Establish, monitor, and adjust treatment goals throughout the episode of care while facilitating safe and successful discharge planning. Advocate for patients by promoting access to appropriate services, resources, and support systems that optimize outcomes and quality of life. Demonstrate knowledge of growth and development principles and provide age-appropriate care to patients across the lifespan. Maintain accurate documentation and comply with regulatory, accreditation, and organizational standards. Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Master's degree preferred, but not required Occupational Therapist Entry-level role; less than 1 year OT experience required
