POSITION OVERVIEW

The Area Director of Life Enrichment will conduct and lead all the daily duties at their home campus but will also help to support other campus(s), in the areas of Life Enrichment and Memory Care. The Area LED will direct the overall operation of the Life Enrichment Department in accordance with federal, state and company standards, guidelines, and regulations. Ensures that quality engagement services are provided daily and that the Life Enrichment department and Legacy are operating according to the Trilogy standards and resident preferences are being met.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintains the Life Enrichment Director duties for home and all assigned campuses.
  • Assists with coordination and management of the onboarding training programs as needed or as directed by the Life Enrichment Support.
  • Oversees and evaluates the activities program, including the completion and/or directing/delegating the completion of the activity's component of the assessment and care plan.
  • Ensures Trilogy Service Standards and best practices, person center care, and engagement at assigned campuses.
  • Conduct visits to assigned campuses as needed that may include but not limited to reviews of dept. budgets and staffing; department scheduling; evaluation of calendars and programming standards being implemented; new hire training plan checklists; documentation/MDS audits; support for the training needs for LE and/or Legacy staff; etc.
  • Coordinates the purchasing of needed supplies for both LE and Legacy.
  • Prepares and presents reports, partners, and communicates with the LES, ED, campus LED and/or Legacy leader with the development and follow-up with CSS Action Plans, Growth Plans and Performance Plans.
  • Participates in Peer Reviews Mock Surveys and/or State/Federal Surveys as needed to provide support and assistance.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred and;
  • Meets all requirements to hold the title of Life Enrichment Director and;
  • 3-5 years' experience as an LED with Trilogy Health Services.
  • Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist preferred.
  • ADC, ACC, or CDP preferred
