The Role

Amphenol Aerospace Operations is seeking a Human Resources Generalistto work out of its state-of-the-art facility in Mesa, AZ.

  • Mesa, AZ - 85204
  • 25 minutes from Phoenix, AZ


This employee is responsible for a variety of Human Resources duties including but not limited to HRIS data entry, recruiting, employee relations, benefits, onboarding, employee engagement, Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) leave administration, and management of college internship program.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:



  • Recruitment (writing and posting ads, sourcing and qualifying candidates, interviewing candidates, tracking candidate data and making offers to selected candidates)
  • Creating, running and analyzing reports related to headcount, compensation, benefits enrollment, workforce demographics, etc.
  • Onboarding new hires through conducting orientation and overseeing training objectives as needed
  • Assisting employees with benefits and pay questions and issues
  • Maintenance of employee records in HRIS and of employee files
  • Assisting with employee engagement activities
  • Other duties as necessary


COMPETENCIES:



  • Must be proficient in MS Office applications.
  • Requires excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to communicate with candidates, employees at all levels in the organization and partners.
  • Confidentiality a must.
  • Experience with common HRIS and ATS such as Dayforce and Acquire TM a plus.


EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:



  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent education/experience is required.
  • Prior experience in Human Resources required.
  • Experience working with employee benefits and/or in Customer Service a plus.
  • SHRM or HRCI certification(s) a plus.


PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

The ability to sit and type for long periods of time.
