Medical Assistant - Urology Sterling, VA Pay From: $23 per hour MUST: The Medical Assistant must have experience: At least two years' experience as a medical assistant Exceptional customer service skills Strong clinical skills Able to work independently and on a team Problem solving skills, ability to multitask Electronic Medical Record experience preferred (Pulse and/or ECW) Experience with inventory/stocking medical supplies Professional demeanor Bilingual a plus (Spanish and English speaking) DUTIES: Obtaining patient vital signs and rooming patients Assisting providers with clinical procedures Assisting physician with general patient care and medical coding Cleaning and stocking exam rooms Completing tasks from providers in a timely fashion Contacting patients with critical laboratory or imaging results Triaging phone calls for patients with an urgent medical problem or postoperative problem Performing bladder scan, urinalysis Collecting and preparing lab specimens Such as urinalysis and urine cytology Assisting with office procedures Coordinating benefits Quadrant is an affirmative action/equal opportunity employer.
