Radiology Student Technologist

General Summary of Position
Attends the MedStar Washington Hospital Center Medical Imaging School of Radiology a 22-month program which qualifies the Radiology Student Technologist to take the A.R.R.T exam in Radiography to become a Registered Radiographer.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

• Admitted into the MWHC Medical Imaging School of Radiology
• Functions as a Student Radiologic Technologist under the supervision of an approved Registered Technologist
• Complies with the policies and procedures of the MWHC Medical Imaging School of Radiology Student Handbook
• Follows all supervision policies as outlined by the JRCERT
• Follows all radiation protection policies as outlined in the Student Clinical Handbook

Minimal Qualifications
Education

• High School Diploma or GED required or
• Associate's degree required
