2nd Shift - Machine Operator

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

* Operates equipment to produce machined parts according to blueprints, router package specifications and/or special instructions.

* Understands and uses drawings, manuals, and work instructions to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished work-piece, sequence of operations, and setup requirements.

* Starts and observes on-going machine operation to detect malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining, and adjusts machine controls or control media as required.

* Verifies conformance of finished work-piece to specifications.

* Inspects parts for quality and appropriate tolerance using measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, and comparators.

* Records the piece count and run time of the production times.

* Verify dimensions and alignment of assembly.

* Checks parts for conformance to specifications using micrometers, calipers and gauges and perform SPC

Compensation:

$20/hr.-$25/hr.

Education and/or Experience

* High school diploma or general education degree (GED).

* Working experience of manufacturing environment.

* A minimum of 0-3 years related industrial machine shop experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
