Worthington Steel is hiring Steel Production Associates at our Cleveland facility. This is a hands-on role with paid training, Day 1 benefits, and real opportunities to grow. We're not just filling a role; we're building a team of dependable people who want to develop and advance.

What You'll Get

  • Starting pay: $20/hour
  • Shift differential: +$1.50/hour
  • $1,500 sign-on bonus
  • Quarterly attendance bonus (up to $1,250/year)

  • Overtime: 1.5x pay, double time after 48 hours

Schedule
Training is completed on day shift (7am-3pm)

Then you will be moved to night shift (11pm-7am)

Shifts are 8 hours and include a paid lunch break.

What You'll Do
As a Steel Production Associate, you'll help process steel to meet customer needs, primarily in the automotive industry.

You'll:

  • Operate equipment such as cranes and forklifts
  • Move, stage, and handle materials safely
  • Package, band, and weigh steel products
  • Load and unload materials from machines
  • Perform quality checks and help solve production issues

What You Need

Must-have:

  • Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic math
  • Comfortable with physical, repetitive work (lifting up to 50 lbs)
  • Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
  • Flexibility to work off-shifts (afternoon/night)
  • Reliable transportation (site is not accessible by public transit)
  • Must be 18+ and able to pass a drug screen and background check

Nice-to-have:

  • Manufacturing or industrial experience
  • Experience operating equipment or tools
