Full-Time | Life Enrichment Assistant

Schedule:

Includes every other weekend and every other holiday

Available Shifts:

  1. 10:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m. (80 hrs. / two-week pay period)

Pay Range: $21.99 - $29.84 per hour (based on experience)

*Same Day Pay Available*

The Difference You'll Make

  1. Plan, coordinate, and implement engaging life enrichment and activity programs across Independent Living, Assisted Living, and Memory Care
  2. Support residents' social, emotional, spiritual, and physical well-being through meaningful programming and engagement opportunities
  3. Build positive relationships with residents, families, and team members to support individualized engagement needs
  4. Develop and maintain monthly activity calendars tailored to resident interests and abilities
  5. Facilitate group and one-on-one activities that support therapeutic, recreational, and quality of life goals
  6. Support seasonal decorating and community events that create a warm, welcoming environment
  7. Document resident participation, engagement, and progress in accordance with community standards
  8. Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to support resident-centered care

Qualifications:

Education Preferred:

  1. Coursework or certification in recreation therapy, therapeutic recreation, activities, or related field

Experience Preferred:

  1. Experience working with older adults, preferably in senior living, memory care, or healthcare settings
  2. Experience working with individuals living with dementia or cognitive change
  3. Experience leading or assisting with group activities, events, or programming

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  1. Creativity and interest in activities such as crafts, music, arts, fitness, or recreational programming
  2. Understanding of small group facilitation and resident engagement techniques
  3. Strong organizational and time management skills
  4. Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, and team members
  5. Ability to work cooperatively as part of a team
  6. Ability to meet physical demands of the position (standing, walking, assisting with activities, lifting supplies, etc.)
