JOB DESCRIPTION —Housing Program Specialist Organization: The New York Association on Independent Living (NYAIL) is a nonprofit membership organization representing Independent Living Centers from around New York State that works to enhance the quality of life and safeguard the rights of people with disabilities. Position: RTH Housing Program Specialist Duties and Responsibilities: The Housing Program Specialist will report to the RTH Director of Housing Programs and/or designee in assisting the program to facilitate the successful transition of individuals into community settings through the Rapid Transition Housing Subsidy Programs. Salary and Benefits:NYAIL offers a competitive salary and generous benefits package. The salary estimate for this position is in the $50,000- $55,000 range. This is a grant funded position through October 31, 2029, with possibility for extension contingent on additional state funding.
