Overview

As the Coborn's Billing, Collections, and Revenue Cycle Lead, you will take ownership of the entire retail enterprise revenue cycle and accounts receivable functions, ensuring accurate revenue capture, billing, cash application, reconciliation, and collections across all stores and third-party sales channels.

In this hands-on leadership role, you will guide, coach, and inspire your AR and Revenue Cycle teams, drive process standardization, maintain strong internal controls, and partner with cross-functional teams to ensure revenue integrity, timely reporting, and cash flow performance.

Position Location: This position is an in-office position, 4 days (Monday-Thursday) with the ability to work remotely on Friday.

Additional Duties Include:

  • Own the full retail revenue and accounts receivable (AR) lifecycle from point-of-sale capture through billing, cash application, reconciliation, collections, and reporting
  • Ensure accurate, timely recording of all retail sales, tenders, and customer transactions across stores and enterprise systems
  • Maintain accountability for AR aging, working capital, and retail revenue-related internal controls
  • Partner cross-functionally (Stores, Merchandising, Pharmacy, IT, Treasury, Finance) to support retail revenue operations and audit readiness
  • Oversee enterprise retail sales processing, tender reconciliation, and reporting across all locations and business units
  • Manage accounting for third-party and omnichannel retail revenue streams, ensuring completeness and timely reconciliation
  • Develop standardized reporting tools for retail sales, tenders, and exceptions, and resolve variances to protect revenue integrity
  • Lead AR and billing operations supporting retail and non-retail revenue, including invoicing, cash application, and collections
  • Monitor customer accounts, credit exposure, and discrepancies tied to retail revenue activity, ensuring timely resolution
  • Track AR and retail revenue performance metrics (DSO, aging, cash flow) and provide actionable insights to stakeholders
  • Drive continuous improvement across retail revenue and AR processes through analysis, system enhancements, and standardization
  • Lead and develop team performance to support retail revenue operations, ensuring productivity, compliance, and operational continuity, and mitigating risks

Qualifications

Education & Experience

  • Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field or equivalent relevant experience. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business preferred.
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in accounts receivable, billing, or revenue cycle operations
  • 2+ years of experience in a team lead, working supervisor, or similar hands-on leadership role with direct reports.
  • Experience supporting high-volume, transaction-intensive environments, preferably in retail, grocery, pharmacy, or multi-unit operations
  • Demonstrated experience with end-to-end revenue and AR processes, including reconciliations, cash application, collections, and reporting
  • Experience partnering cross-functionally with Merchandising, Operations, Stores, IT, Treasury, and Finance

Pay Range

USD $63,000.00 - USD $99,000.00 /Yr.
