Position Summary

The Program Coordinator provides support at the ORCC off-campus location for the Success Through Education Program. Duties and tasks include assisting with recruitment of students and pre and post student assessments.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

* Schedule and conduct student assessments.
* Verify GED or High School Diplomas and maintain assessment scores on spread sheets.
* Maintain a candidates list for classes, meet with counselors and inmates, prepare drafts and final class lists.
* Process class closure paperwork for AACC and ORCC.
* Prepare the GED Classroom for GED Testing.
* Register students to take the GED Test, conduct and proctor the GED Testing for ORCC, JRDC, and release students as well as retesting.
* Maintain records for satisfactory and unsatisfactory test results.

Required Qualifications:

Minimum two years experience in teaching and/or administering adult education or youth education programs in a correctional setting.
