Waukesha County is looking for a forward-thinking Training and Development Coordinator to lead and grow our employee development programs. This is an opportunity to make a lasting impact by fostering a culture of continuous learning, strengthening leadership development, and helping employees across the organization build the skills they need to succeed. Waukesha County offers a well-established and comprehensive training program that supports employees at all levels. Current offerings include six leadership development programs, a certificate program built around the County's Standards of Service Excellence, technology training, Lean/Continuous Improvement education, and wide range of professional development opportunities. In this role, you will partner with third-party facilitators to coordinate existing programs while also designing and delivering new learning solutions that respond to evolving organizational needs. You will collaborate closely with County leadership, managers, and employees to identify development priorities and implement effective training strategies. A key focus of this position is advancing the County's Workday Learning platform. Responsibilities include administering the system, build learning paths, launching targeted training campaigns, and supporting the integration of digital learning content to expand employee access to develop opportunities. This role serves as the lead for the Workday Talent and Performance module, supporting performance management, succession planning, and broader talent development strategies. In addition, you will contribute to employee communication and engagement initiatives as a member of the County'sCommunications Team. Preferred Qualifications
