Position Overview
We are seeking a Customer Solutions Specialist to play a key role in delivering accurate project estimates, supporting customers with technical solutions, and driving business growth. This is more than a traditional customer service role-you will be trained by senior experts to develop technical expertise, support complex quoting processes, and build strong client relationships.
What You'll Do
Estimating & Quoting
- Develop accurate cost estimates for motor rebuild projects, including labor, materials, and overhead
- Collaborate with technicians, suppliers, and internal teams to determine scope and pricing
- Review inspection reports and test data to ensure accuracy and completeness
Customer Solutions & Technical Support
- Serve as a primary point of contact for customer inquiries on estimates, services, and products
- Provide technical support and recommend solutions related to motor performance and rebuild processes
- Resolve customer concerns professionally and efficiently
- Represent the company in client meetings, site visits, and presentations as needed
Business Operations
- Manage the sales process from quote to order entry using ERP systems
- Maintain accurate job documentation and portal records
- Evaluate and refine estimates to ensure cost accuracy and efficiency
- Stay current on industry trends and product innovations
Procurement
- Assist with sourcing specialty parts and supplier research
- Provide backup support to procurement/parts purchasing
What You Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (preferred)
- 3+ years of experience in estimating, customer service, or a technical/industrial environment
- Experience working with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, etc.)
- Strong analytical, mathematical, and mechanical aptitude
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and estimating tools
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
