What Puts You on Our Shortlist for Machinist

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years of machining or related industry experience
• Hands-on experience operatingmanual lathes and mills
• Working knowledge of machining techniques, materials, and tolerances

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate degree in amechanical or technical field
• Experience inprocess control or similar industries
• Ability to diagnose and resolve machining or process issues
• Experience withFisher and Final Control products (preferred, not required)

What You'll Do Behind the Machine

• Set up machines and tooling for production machining
• Operatemanual lathes and mills
• Read and machine parts fromblueprints, drawings, and samples
• Machine components fromraw castings and bar stock
• Performrepair and touch-up machining while maintaining critical dimensions
• Conductdimensional and visual inspections on finished parts
• Complete inspection reports and maintain required documentation
• Applyshop math, including trigonometry, in daily operations
• Select appropriatecutting tools, speeds, feeds, and coolant
• Maintain aclean, safe, and organized work environment
• Follow all companysafety, quality, and operational procedures
• Participate in safety and quality initiatives as required
