TheDedicated Network Support Specialistis responsible for practitioner setup, payment configuration, and financial support activities in alignment with the VBA MDE program, supporting accurate and timely reimbursement by maintaining practitioner profiles, payment calendars, and related financial components according to established workflows and standards while collaborating closely with internal partners to support daytoday operational needs and execute assigned tasks in accordance with defined processes and procedures.

Schedule: This position is full-time (40 hours/week) Monday - Friday. Employees are required work an 8-hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of 8am - 5:00 pm. The schedule will be determined by supervisor upon hire

Location: Remote nationwide

You will enjoy the flexibility to telecommute* from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Setup practitioner profiles according to block scheduling checklists for block scheduled providers and practitioners
  • Set up and maintain manual finance calendars for payment rendering on provider and practitioner days
  • Investigate and address provider reimbursement inquiries in partnership with Provider Reimbursement (PR) and SubK teams to support accurate and automated invoicing. Maintain and track dedicated supervising physician network to support invoicing
  • Work closely with Resource Partner Management (RPM), National Account Managers, Clinic Operations Managers (COM), and Clinic Operations Specialists (COS) to ensure accurate practitioner setups and payment processing
  • Accountable for managing the VS Market Relations email and fax inbox
  • Follow established workflows, documentation standards, and escalation paths to ensure consistency and compliance
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • 1+ years of experience in workingcollaboratively with a diverse group of individuals to accomplish customer-driven goals
  • 1+ years of computer proficiency experience with Microsoft Office programs including Excel and Adobe or similar
  • Ability to perform detailed work with a high degree of accuracy
  • Ability to keep all company sensitive documents secure (if applicable)
  • Access to a dedicated work area established that is separated from other living areas and provides information privacy
  • Must live in a location that can receive a UnitedHealth Group approved high-speed internet connection or leverage an existing high-speed internet service

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience supporting healthcare provider networks
  • Experience in billing or provider invoicing
  • Database experience (e.g., MedNet)
  • Experience with Smartsheet
  • Experience with AutoHotkey automation tool

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to ensure understanding across all levels of the business
  • Strong problemsolving and organizational skills, with the ability to multitask in a fastpaced environment
  • Solid critical thinking skills, attention to detail, and proven ability to effectively problem solve while utilizing all-encompassing customer service skill sets

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The hourly pay for this role will range from $17.98 to $32.12 per hour based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
