Your Opportunity:The Occasions Group, a Taylor Corporation company, is looking for an Equipment Operator in our North Mankato, MN facility. This is an entry-level position with room to advance and grow! Work Authorization: To be considered for the Taylor opportunities, candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship. Your Responsibilities: Set up and run a printing press. You will make special occasion items like invitations, napkins, holiday cards, etc Problem solve for mechanical issues and adjust as necessary to meet quality standards Make sure finished copy is correct and monitor for quality Change ink, foil, and die cuts Pull enough stock to fill and finish orders Wash and perform maintenance on equipment as needed Your Shift: 1st shift (6:00pm- 2:00pm, Mon-Fri) You Must Have: Ability to be on your feet for the majority of your shift and willingness to work in a fast-paced production environment Be able to tell the difference between colors and pick out fine details Ability to read written instructions such as work orders, parts orders, safety regulations, and operating procedures Effective communication with supervisors and fellow employees Ability to be reliable for your scheduled shifts Basic math and problem-solving skills Basic computer skills Requirements Within This Position: Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information and ideas so others will understand Regularly required to remain in a stationary position Constantly operates machinery and handles products including print materials Frequently required to move inside the facility Regularly move up to 25+ pounds (lift, push, pull and/or carry) We Would Also Prefer: High School Diploma or equivalent Production experience and mechanical ability The anticipated hourly range for this position is $15 - $18. The actual base offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job. The range listed is just one component of Taylor Corporation's total compensation and benefits package for employee.
