What You'll Do



Job Summary:

The Director of Finance and Accounting Analytics leads the delivery of finance and accounting analytics capabilities that enable the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) organization to make informed, data-driven decisions. The role partners closely with Finance stakeholders (particularly Business Analysts and Data Stewards) and provides thought leadership at the intersection of business and technology to enable scalable analytics that support financial planning, performance management, regulatory reporting, and strategic decision-making. Through a federated analytics operating model, this role enables finance teams to effectively leverage enterprise data, tools, and analytics assets. By strengthening the finance analytics ecosystem, this role drives greater financial transparency, operational efficiency, and enterprise-wide trust in financial data and insights.

    • Parter with the CFO organization as one-team to design, develop, and deliver analytics solutions, enabling consistent, trusted, and scalable insights across finance and accounting functions.






    • Partner with the CFO organization (particularly Finance Business Analysts and Data Stewards) to support a federated analytics operating model that enables the business to leverage governed enterprise data, tools, and analytics assets to drive decision-making.
    • Ensure governed, reconciled, and trusted finance and accounting data assets that enable consistent interpretation, standardized metrics, and enterprise-wide confidence in financial insights.
    • Lead the development of enterprise cascade dashboards from a finance lens, providing standardized metrics and actionable insights accessible anytime and anywhere to support leadership decision-making.
    • Develop analytics capabilities supporting budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis (actual vs. planned), profitability and P&L analysis, and scenario modeling to inform financial planning and business strategy.
    • Oversee the delivery of automated, accurate, and auditable financial reporting aligned with regulatory requirements, board reporting needs, and internal governance standards.
    • Provide insights into cost drivers, operational productivity, and efficiency metrics to support cost optimization, resource allocation, and strategic budget management.
    • Deliver analytics capabilities supporting balance sheet management, capital adequacy, liquidity analysis, risk-weighted assets (RWA), net interest margin (NIM), and yield optimization.
    • Develop revenue and margin analytics that inform product portfolio strategy, pricing decisions, and growth initiatives across the organization.
    • Partner with Finance Data Stewards and enterprise data governance to implement governance policies including fine-grained access control, data quality monitoring, lineage tracking, reconciliations, and standardized financial metric definitions.
    • Coordinate with other enterprise data and analytics teams to ensure finance and accounting analytics are built on trusted data foundations and aligned with enterprise architecture and standards.
    • Enable finance teams to effectively leverage analytics tools and insights by supporting adoption, improving financial data literacy, and embedding analytics into daily financial decision processes.

What You'll Need



Education and Experience Requirements:





    • Extensive senior leadership experience overseeing software development organizations responsible for large scale, customer facing digital platforms in complex, regulated environments


    • Deep understanding of modern software engineering and delivery practices, including front end and mobile development, API driven architectures, distributed systems, and cloud native solutions.


    • Proven ability to operate at an enterprise level, balancing business priorities, engineering constraints, platform strategy, and long term architectural sustainability.


    • Demonstrated experience implementing and scaling Agile, DevOps, and SRE practices across multiple teams to achieve predictable, high quality delivery outcomes.


    • Credibility engaging in architecture and design discussions while delegating detailed solution ownership to engineering leaders.


    • Strong executive communication and influence skills, with the ability to frame technical tradeoffs in business relevant terms and guide cross functional decision making.


    • Experience managing third party software vendors and integrating vendor delivery models into internal engineering governance.


    • Collaborative, principled leadership style with a track record of leading through influence rather than direct authority alone.

Expected Pay Range



$165,000 - 185,000
