The Talent Operations Manager will develop and lead Benefits Administration and Leave Administration teams that will execute and support a vast array of global centralized operational processes and tasks. The person in this role will play a key role driving the Talent Operations Team's performance by leading teams that develop, implement, test, train and manage the administration of centralized, highly repeatable solutions that allow RSM to achieve global talent business goals while balancing the needs of our employees and talent team stakeholders in our enterprise talent system(s) and integrated compliance solutions.

This person will be responsible for providing leadership and management to these teams on an enterprise level responsible for ensuring seamless coordination with our COE teams across talent and executive stakeholders. This position will focus on continuous improvements to maximize efficiencies while ensuring they and their team(s) provide exceptional, consistent and timely service. The manager also partners closely with relevant vendors as applicable to ensure operational strategy processes remain efficient and productive.

Responsibilities:

  • Manages Workforce Operations teams including Benefit Administration and Leave Administration, designing workflows and facilitating effective handoffs with the COE
  • Maintains close collaboration with the COEs, ensuring proper knowledge transfer mechanisms and clear delegation of work between teams
  • Identifies additional services to be brought into Workforce Operations, enabling COEs to focus on program design and strategy
  • Supervises administrative mobility support, such as coordinating logistics and processing data changes in Workday not done via self-service
  • Manages full benefits administration support, including enrollment platform and benefits changes
  • Oversees management of LOA programs
  • Oversees management of employee data and organizational changes to ensure accuracy and consistency
  • Support rollout of talent programming by preparing team to field questions and provide repeatable transactional support for talent programming as applicable
  • Serves as a point of escalation to handle direct client service needs

Minimum Requirements

  • At least 5 years of progressive Benefits Administration, Leave Administration, HR or other relevant Talent experience.
  • Prior supervisory experience, coaching and developing a high performing team required.

Preferred Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor's or Associate's Degree in Human Resources or related area preferred, or equivalent years of experience
  • Strong understanding of Benefit Administration, Leave Administration or related HR field work.
  • Project Leadership: Proven experience in leading project teams, overseeing the work of non-exempt employees, and providing guidance and direction on deliverables.
  • Leadership and Influence: Demonstrated leadership capability, including the ability to motivate, influence, and lead others effectively.
  • Consultative Skills: Excellent consultative skills, with the ability to provide valuable insights and guidance to stakeholders.
  • Initiative and Independence: Proven ability to work with minimal guidance, take initiative, and manage multiple priorities simultaneously, even in unfamiliar or ambiguous circumstances.
  • Customer Service Excellence: Develop and maintain a reputation for providing superior customer service and fostering a culture centered around customer satisfaction.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with varied stakeholder audiences.
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to think strategically, anticipate potential challenges, and develop proactive solutions.
  • Problem-Solving: Constructively address and learn from mistakes and failures, both personally and within the team.
  • Collaboration: Work collaboratively with internal peers and external business partners to achieve common goals.
  • Technical Proficiency: Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office product suite and an affinity for learning and utilizing new systems, tools, and technology.

At RSM, an employee's pay at any point in their career is intended to reflect their experiences, performance, and skills for their current role. The salary range (or starting rate for interns and associates) for this role represents numerous factors considered in the hiring decisions including, but not limited to, education, skills, work experience, certifications, location, etc. As such, pay for the successful candidate(s) could fall anywhere within the stated range.

Compensation Range: $95,400 - $163,900

Individualsselected for this role will be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on firm and individual performance.
