Hourly Pay Range:

$35.16 - $54.50 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Position Highlights:

  • Position: Occupational Therapist II - Pediatric

  • Location: 130 S Main Street, Lombard, IL

  • Per Diem/PRN

  • Hours: As needed for afternoon shifts, Monday through Friday (after school hours). Flexible with hours.

What you will do:

Occupational Therapist will see pediatric patients of all ages in 1-on-1 care to assess developmental needs, create patient-centered plans of care, and work closely with families to progress towards patients' goals.Demonstrates an appropriate level of clinical skill, as evidenced by the completion of comprehensive and insightful evaluations, and the development of individualized and effective treatment plans designed to achieve precise, functional goals.Evaluates patients in the areas of upper extremity function, activities of daily living, generalized physical functioning, psychosocial skills and cognition/perception in order to develop and implement treatment plans and goals.Uses excellent communication skills to educate patients and engage them in their own care.Stays updated regarding developments, new techniques, and equipment in the field of occupational therapy.Maintains a well-rounded knowledge base, and clinical reasoning skills to consistently achieve expected clinical outcomes.

What you will need:

  • Pediatric Occupational Therapy experience, required

  • Current State of Illinois Occupational Therapist licensure

  • Current American Heart Association BLS/CPR Certification
