Job Summary

The Senior Director, Creative & Content serves as the organization's executive creative leader, responsible for shaping and driving the multiyear creative and content vision for the LA Galaxy and Dignity Health Sports Park. Reporting directly to the Chief Marketing Officer, this role provides strategic oversight of all fanfacing creative and content across design, video, photography, social, digital, and invenue platforms, ensuring a unified and elevated brand presence that advances the club's marketing and business objectives.

The Senior Director leads the development of enterpriselevel creative strategy, ensuring all storytelling aligns with the organization's brand and longrange priorities. They partner closely with senior leaders across Marketing, Communications, Ticketing, Corporate Partnerships, and Stadium Operations to deliver innovative, insightdriven creative that supports major campaigns and organizational initiatives. This role oversees a highperforming, multidisciplinary creative team and guides the conception, execution, and delivery of assets that bring the LA Galaxy and Dignity Health Sports Park brands to life across every touchpoint.

Essential Functions



  • Oversee the enterprise wide creative and content ecosystem for the LA Galaxy, LA Galaxy II, LA Galaxy Academy, and Dignity Health Sports Park, setting the long term creative vision and ensuring all visual communication aligns with organizational brand, marketing, and business strategies. This includes executive leadership of all creative concepts across paid advertising (TV, print, radio), online marketing, website, social media, in venue platforms (videoboards, LED ribbons, stadium signage), and event environments (activation spaces, branding, and giveaways).
  • The Senior Director establishes and governs the creative approval process, internal and external, ensuring consistency, quality, and alignment with enterprise priorities. They lead the strategic development of multi year content and channel plans across social, web, and in app platforms, ensuring a cohesive narrative, elevated brand expression, and a publishing cadence that drives sustained fan engagement, audience growth, and measurable business impact.
  • Oversee the strategic development and execution of high impact, multi channel creative campaigns that support the organization's most visible initiatives, including annual kit launches, seasonal brand campaigns, ticketing initiatives, MLS All Star,special competitions competitions (US Open Cup, Champions League, Leagues Cup), and playoffs.
  • This role ensures all campaigns are insight driven, culturally relevant, and built to deliver measurable business outcomes across revenue, fan engagement, and audience growth.
  • Serve as the organization's creative leader, establishing a formal creative review process that ensures brand consistency, elevates creative quality, and protects the integrity of the LA Galaxy and Dignity Health Sports Park brand identities for long range creative direction, ensuring all creative output aligns with enterprise priorities and supports the club's multi-year brand strategy.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a multi layered creative and content teams, including managers, graphic designers, producers, photographers, social and content creators.
  • This role fosters a culture of innovation, collaboration, and creative excellence, ensuring teams deliver high quality work that aligns with strategic priorities, meets deadlines, and advances the club's brand and business goals.
  • Oversee the department's creative and content budget, making strategic decisions on in house resources, outsourced production, and technology investments that strengthen the organization's creative capabilities. The Senior Director partners closely with performance marketing, fan data, and lifecycle teams to ensure content is optimized for distribution, targeting, and measurable impact across the funnel. This role continuously evaluates tools, platforms, workflows, and vendor partnerships to increase efficiency, elevate creative output, and support long term operational effectiveness.


Required Qualifications



  • BA/BS Degree (4-year) (Advanced Degree Preferred): In a related field.
  • 10+ years
  • Executive-level communication and presentation skills
  • Strong project management skills including the ability to set and deliver on strict timelines
  • Ability to translate business goals into creative strategy
  • Excellent at relationship building and communicating across departments
  • Current knowledge of industry trends and a passion to innovate digital and social strategies
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong financial acumen and experience managing large budgets
  • Strong Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) Adobe Photoshop
  • Ability to work evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed


Payscale: $129,527.00 - $150,000.00

Bonus:This position is eligible for a bonus under the current bonus plan requirements.
