What to Expect

Tesla is accelerating the world's transition to amazing abundance through Tesla Energy. As Sr. Program Manager, Tesla Energy Experience and Branding, you will own and scale global systems for factory tours, onboarding, engagement, and internal communications - driving sales velocity, reducing operational errors, and fostering excellence across 4+ energy manufacturing sites.

By owning and scaling these programs across Tesla's Energy Manufacturing, you will enable Sales and Business Development through customer-facing tours, drive execution readiness via effective first-touch onboarding in complex manufacturing environments and build a factory culture aligned to leadership tenets for safe, world-class, high-performing execution at scale. Ultimately, this turns first-touch moments into sustained alignment, reducing friction, accelerating understanding, and enabling consistent high standard execution across Energy Manufacturing.

What You'll Do
  • Architect and scale global programs across four pillars: Tours, Onboarding, Engagement, and Branding & Internal Communications - across Energy manufacturing sites to drive sales enablement, operational excellence, and cultural alignment
  • Lead the Energy Customer Experience Programs by designing customized factory tours for customers, partners, and stakeholders that accelerate deal velocity and reinforce brand standards
  • Design and scale global onboarding and product education systems to accelerate knowledge transfer for new hires, partners, and cross-functional teams across diverse roles and regions
  • Drive global engagement and culture initiatives using the Cathedral Model, including recognition programs, milestone celebrations, and safety/quality enablement, with $1.5M+ cross-site budget oversight
  • Build and operationalize a Leader Enablement Communications function - equipping Tesla Energy leaders with messaging frameworks, channel strategies, and change management playbooks to communicate with greater intention and impact; encompassing All Hands, QBRs, newsletters, and digital platforms to ensure consistent, high-impact information flow across Tesla Energy factory sites where no structured capability currently exists
  • Define and standardize playbooks, curricula, and tools across all programs in collaboration with HR, EHS, Workplace, Sales, Business Development, Operations, and Site Leadership to tailor solutions for global sites and diverse audiences
  • Drive continuous improvement by gathering insights, analyzing outcomes, and iterating strategies to enhance effectiveness, scalability, and world-class factory performance

What You'll Bring
  • 7-10+ years of experience in program management, customer experience, operations, or related fields within high-growth tech, energy, or manufacturing sectors; proven track record scaling global programs (e.g., tours, onboarding, or engagement initiatives) with quantifiable outcomes
  • Strong strategic and analytical skills, including architecting systems/playbooks, content creation, metrics tracking (e.g., ROI, engagement rates), and continuous improvement in fast-paced environments
  • Exceptional ability to work cross-functionally and collaborate across organizations, partnering with teams like Sales, Operations, Engineering, Business Development, HR, Operations, Safety, and Site Leadership to align on goals and drive integrated solutions
  • Executive presence for effective internal leadership (e.g., influencing stakeholders and presenting to executives without authority) and external customer interactions (e.g., during tours or partnerships), with superior communication skills for clear, impactful messaging
  • Demonstrated creativity and innovation in program design, such as expanding engagement for safety/quality or optimizing comms channels, with adaptability to global/regional variations
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Communications, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience

  • Willingness to travel 20-30% to global sites (e.g., MFCA, MFTX, NV) and thrive in a dynamic, mission-driven culture focused on sustainable energy
