Title: Accounting Analyst III Duration: 5+ months Location: Menlo Park, CA or Austin, TX (Fully onsite) Job Description Client is looking for an Infrastructure Accounting Analyst, Data Center to join the team in Austin, Texas on a temporary basis . The ideal candidate will be able to work well with cross functional teams, provide accounting and process guidance for decision making, as well as being able to manage a significant portion of Client's infrastructure investment on our balance sheet. You need to recognize how to strike a balance on getting the details right while still moving fast enough to support the rapid business growth. The candidate must be a highly driven, high energy, focused individual that can work well with internal and external partners at all levels. Responsibilities: Manage the accounting for several data center construction projects from record to report including responsibility for month end close processes and SOX controls Own multiple balance sheet accounts and the corresponding sub-ledger for varying levels of complexity Develop and maintain strong relationships with our Infrastructure Business Partners to understand the broader business objectives, develop processes jointly and provide accounting guidance. Identify process gaps and independently develop and implement solutions. Provide support to finance management and other cross functional partners as needed. This includes ad hoc financial analysis, technical analysis, and special projects Minimum Qualifications Excellent team player who is adept at working as part of a larger team located in different locations BA/BS degree in Accounting or Finance 5+ years of financial statement auditing, financial accounting, or similar experience Experience analyzing large data sets and working with business partners to effect changes Experience in optimizing or re-designing existing processes resulting from business needs Preferred Qualifications Big 4 audit experience and CPA Experience with Oracle Financials and Hyperion
