Report to: VP of Customs Brokerage

Classified: Non-Exempt, Full-Time, Direct-Hire

Pay: $30.00 - $40.00/hour

Responsibilities:


Prepare and submit accurate customs declarations and shipping documentation to government agencies in a timely and compliant manner.

Coordinate closely with internal sales teams to ensure prompt and accurate processing of declarations.

Provide comprehensive logistics support, including arranging transportation, tracking shipments, and providing status updates.

Offer pricing quotations to current and potential customers based on logistics and freight requirements.

Act as a key point of contact for shippers, carriers, and airlines to facilitate smooth operations and resolve issues.

Manage invoice processing (Air, Ocean, Trucking), billing, and reconciliation of freight charges.

Ensure full compliance with TSA, CTPAT, State Department, and other regulatory requirements.

Maintain strict confidentiality and security for all company and customer information.


Qualifications:


Minimum of 3 years of experience in import operations and customs brokerage.

U.S. Customs Broker License is preferred (candidates pursuing certification are encouraged to apply).

Working knowledge or experience with TSA and CTPAT program administration.

Strong organizational skills with a high level of attention to detail, especially in documentation.

Proficiency in modern logistics software/systems (e.g., CargoWise, SAP, or similar).

Understanding of Japanese culture and Japanese language skills are considered a strong plus.

The base pay range listed reflects what we reasonably expect to offer for this role. Actual pay may vary based on location, experience, and performance.
