Title: Supply Chain Analyst

Location: Atlanta Georgia 30339

Pay Rate: $35 - $40.00 hourly on W2

The contractor will lead and evaluate supply chain activities including inventory management, procurement, production planning, transportation, warehousing, and distribution. This assignment is integral in developing new forecasting, order replenishment, and logistics channel decision processes. Assignment tasks include preparing multiple reports and dashboards, managing day-to-day replenishment activities, and answering store replenishment questions. The contractor will oversee process improvement projects, identify key stakeholders, and educate supply chain stakeholders on new processes. Additionally, the assignment involves developing decision support tools and financial models to analyze cost/benefit tradeoffs, and analyzing multi-tier distribution channels for cost and service level tradeoffs. The contractor will also gather supply chain best practices and develop strategies to support business case development.

Assignment Tasks:

• Participates in developing new forecasting, order replenishment, and logistics channel decision processes
• Creates and prepares multiple reports and dashboards; manages day-to-day replenishment activities, answers store replenishment questions, and reports & follows up on all key inventory metrics
• Manages process improvement projects within the Supply Chain; identifies key stakeholders, owners, and resources needed to execute; educates and influences key supply chain stakeholders on the benefits of new processes
• Develops decision support tools and financial models to analyze cost/benefit tradeoffs of inventory; analyzes multi-tier distribution channels to determine cost and service level tradeoffs for product categories; develops forecasting tools to support collaborative planning with merchandising suppliers
• Analyzes and gathers supply chain best practices; develops strategies in support of supply chain business case development; conducts day-to-day business analysis supporting supply chain managers
• Supports central replenishment activities including the development of new forecasting tools, inventory forecasting, and replenishment strategies; partners with merchants to plan for promotions, price changes, and exit strategies
