Description Job Title: Machine Operator Location: Hatfield, PA Employment: Temp to perm Industry: Automation Machinery Manufacturing Compensation: $15.69 - $21.11/hr + 10% shift differential. Schedule: 40 hours/week - 2 ^nd shift About the Opportunity: Operate various machines essential to the production of flow meters and flow technology. The position involves the operation of equipment necessary for the production of acrylic and glass flowmeters and is executed under the direction of the appropriate Manufacturing Supervisor. APPLY TODAY What You'll Do: The operation of all equipment required to manufacture flow meters and flow instrument technology, including, but not limited to assorted hand tools, fixtures, drill presses, lathes and gun-drilling machine. Ensure quality standards are met to customer expectations and internal guidelines and notify team leader or supervisor in the event of a non-conformance. Maintaining a clean and safe workplace including but not limited to cleaning machines at end of each day, weekly cleaning and maintenance and adherence to 5S plan and schedule. Regular attendance. Other duties as assigned, including working in other departments when needed. Job Requirements What You'll Bring: High School Diploma or GED. 2+ years of experience using hand tools and production equipment. What Sets You Apart: Manufacturing experience. Basic mathematical skills to maintain accurate counts and production records and a strong appreciation for procedure, processes and operational excellence. The ability to operate all equipment in a safe and conscientious manner. Ability to operate multiple machines within a certain area. Appropriate interpersonal skills to allow for professional, courteous and productive interaction with subordinates, co-workers and supervisors. Additional Information: Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check. The physical demands of lifting up to 25 lbs. as well as kneeling, reaching, standing, walking, lifting, fingering, talking, hearing, and repetitive motions are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the position. The work environment characteristics need exposure to a production environment, while being subjected to moderate noise levels while performing the essential functions of the position.
