The expected hiring range for this position is: $32.12-$32.12.Please note that the pay range information is a general guideline only. The pay offered to a selected candidate will be determined based on factors such the scope and responsibilities of the position, qualifications of the selected candidate, business considerations, internal equity, and external market pay for comparable jobs. Relocation is not available for this position.
About the Role:
The Security & Emergency Management Division is responsible for ensuring that Fermilab's employees and natural resources remain unharmed. At Fermilab, we make every effort to integrate environmental considerations into our offices and experiments. We provide safety training to all Fermilab employees. We also ensure that employees are not overexposed to hazardous materials and provide on-site medical service. Fermilab has an excellent opportunity for a Firefighter/Emergency Medical Technician to work in the Fire Department. Under the supervision and direction of the Battalion Chief and Fire Lieutenant, performs firefighting duties, emergency medical care, hazardous material and technical rescue response, fire prevention inspections, and other tasks.
