What You'll Do:

    Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and/or drivers by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, badge verification, and other security-related policies at an industrial location.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, log arrivals and departures, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas, materials, and/or operations.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, policy concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report relevant details through appropriate site and Allied Universal channels.
  • Support vehicle and personnel screening activities at gates and designated checkpoints, including directing traffic flow, checking identification, and documenting deliveries and/or visitor access requests.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, observing for unusual activity, access control issues, and/or conditions that may require a security-related response.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Possess 2 or more years of security-related experience.
  • Possess a valid Transportation Security Administration issued TWIC.
  • Be 21 or more years of age.
  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
