Security Officer Continuous Patrol

As a Security Officer Continuous Patrol in Aventura, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a dynamic retail location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and assist shoppers, tenants, and staff with exceptional customer service and communication. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, and/or staff by following site-specific procedures, access guidelines, and emergency response activities appropriate for a retail location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or urgent situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the property, including common areas, entrances, storefront corridors, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor for unusual activity, policy violations, and/or maintenance concerns, and report security-related issues to help support orderly daily operations.
• Assist with crowd management, closing procedures, and/or directional support during busy shopping periods, special events, or changing business conditions.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
