Overview:

This position is responsible for assisting servers and management in any way possible to ensure prompt, and courteous service to all guests.

Responsibilities:

* Must have complete knowledge of service times and menu.

* Must have complete knowledge of floor plan, table numbers, and seat numbers.

* Supports new Omni Safe and Clean protocols throughout the outlet to support Omni's Covid-19 related sanitation protocols.

* Deliver food to correct tables according to ticket, floor plan, and seat numbers.

* Always inquire if additional service is needed from guests upon delivery and inform server or manager.

* Responsible for set-up of assigned stations with specified items.

* Maintain a clean and organized work area.

* Must consult with supervisor on any food delivery difficulty.

* Must always minimize breakage.

* Assist with Bar Back duties as needed; removal of dishware, and stocking the bar stations to par.

* Maintenance and replenishment of dining room items. Ensure items are always full, clean and presentable.

* Securing all dining room items such as platters, butter dishes, bread knives as directed by manager or posted side work.

* Ensuring all products are within date and using the FIFO method of storage.

* Attend all department meetings and other required company trainings.

* Perform any other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

* Minimum 1-year food runner experience or DRA experience

* Must be able to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays.

* Must be able to communicate effectively.

* Must consistently demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills, be teamwork-oriented, and exhibit a positive attitude.

* Maintain a professional business appearance, attitude, and performance.

* Must have and maintain current, ServSafe or equivalent training.

* Physical Requirements:

o Must be able to stand and walk for an extended period or for an entire shift.

o Must be able to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance.

* Working Environment:

o Interior of restaurant kitchen and designated bar area, with occasional travel around the property as needed.

o Exposure to a kitchen environment with high temperatures.

o Exterior of Hotel with exposure to weather conditions.

o Exposure to Food and Beverage hazardous cleaning chemicals.

o Exposure to food items and beverages.

* Tools & Equipment:

o Open Table, Kronos, Telephone, Wine Key, Knife.
