If you are a friendly, motivated person, with a passion to serve others, the Omni Homestead Resort & Spa may be your perfect match. Overview: The Kids Camp Attendant is part of our Fun Squad. The ideal candidate has high, dynamic energy and readily engages our kids and families in daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly programs/events. On a day to day, they work in our Kids Club which is an interactive play center offered to Club Members and guests to supervise their children ages 1 year to 8 years old. On a broader basis, the attendant will be part of all family and kid events from weekly Friday events for the 6-12-year-olds to major Holiday events where we serve 600-1,400 members. The ideal candidate has flexible availability including mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Responsibilities: * Maintain active focus on all children, providing caring, energetic attention and consistent direction * Communicate clearly and supportively with parents regarding children's needs, behavior, and related issues * Complete daily/weekly/monthly programs and activities planned for each level of childcare as defined for various programs * Accurately complete procedures for registration, daily sign-in/out, cleanliness, and safety * Clean and sanitize toys, equipment, and furniture within the childcare areas * Provide feedback to management about improvements that could be made regarding programming, planning, organizing, and policies * Work as a team member with the Fun Squad to provide a high level of service to members * Attend all required meetings and staff trainings throughout the year * SMILE and provide a positive environment for all members, staff, and guests * May be asked to perform other duties as assigned Qualifications: * Must enjoy working with children of all ages * Must have flexibility with work schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays * Must be CPR/Child Infant and CPR/AED certified, or must obtain certification upon hire * Yearly Background Check * Physical Requirements: o Must be able to lift moderate weight (50-60 lbs) o Must be willing to work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions for extended periods of time * Working Environment: o Indoor Kid's Club childcare facility o Indoor Ballroom o Outdoor with exposure to hot and cold temperatures o Frequent travel around property * Tools & Equipment: o Microsoft Office o Children's play equipment Omni Hotels & Resorts is an equal opportunity/AA/Disability/Veteran employer.
