Responsibilities

    Assist the Preconstruction Department with construction management projects by sending out bid packages and advertising
  • Assist the estimating teams with bidding. Reading through specifications, addenda, and drawings to determine what the bidding requirements are including, but not limited to, requesting bid bonds, insurance requirements, licensing requirements, and advertising to obtain minority participation.
  • Drafting and submitting required post bid documents on the projects where bids have been submitted.
  • Drafting Purchase Orders, Subcontract Agreements, and Change Orders to send via DocuSign.
  • Uploading documents in Procore for Project Owners to review.
  • Badging process for projects when required.
  • Assist with rectifying any permits or violation notices from the City of Indianapolis.
  • Completing and submitting all prequalifications required by all Construction Managers and General Contractors for bidding and/ or project requirements.
  • Printing plans/ specifications when required for bidding or for ongoing projects.
  • Assist Project Manager with ordering supplies/ materials for projects.


Qualifications

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION

  • High School diploma required; Associate's/Bachelor's degree preferred
  • 1-3 years of experience in the field or related area
  • Strong preference for construction experience
  • Or equivalent combination of education and experience

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

  • Knowledge of Procore
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs
  • Strong technical and communication skills
