As a Screener in a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, you will help inspect packages and visitors, monitor assigned areas, and support security-related screening operations with professionalism and care. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out site-specific screening procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Perform screening duties for people, packages, and/or materials entering or leaving the location in support of established security-related policies and operational procedures.
• Respond to incidents, suspicious activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observations according to site guidelines.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and perimeter, with attention to shipping, receiving, dock, and warehouse areas where conditions may vary by site.
• Help to deter unauthorized access and policy violations by monitoring entry points, verifying credentials, and communicating clearly with site personnel and visitors.

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• X-Ray screening experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
