Position Overview

The Operations Supervisor provides onsite leadership at a highvolume Materials Recovery Facility. Responsibilities include maintaining safe, efficient, and reliable production by overseeing personnel, equipment, and material flow.

Key Responsibilities

* Supervise hourly employees across assigned shifts

* Monitor equipment performance, material flow, and production quality

* Enforce safety standards and respond to incidents

* Manage staffing levels, break schedules, and rotation plans

* Support continuous improvement initiatives and minimize downtime

* Communicate shift performance and key issues to management

Qualifications

* High School Diploma or equivalent required

* 2+ years of experience in operations, manufacturing, recycling, or similar fields

* Previous supervisory or leadership experience

* Strong safety awareness and decisionmaking ability

* Ability to work in a fastpaced industrial environment

* Preferred: MRF or recycling facility experience; bilingual English/Spanish

* Preferred: 2+ years operating light to heavy equipment
