Position Summary
Exciting opportunity to join our acclaimed Developmental Medicine Clinical Research Labs, within the Division of Developmental Medicine at Boston Children's Hospital. We are seeking a full-time Clinical Research Assistant to assist in conducting cutting-edge clinical research to improve diagnostic approaches, treatment, and outcomes for children with attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and other neurodevelopmental disorders. This role will work on projects including interventional medication trials.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assisting the Principal Investigator and senior team leaders in the development, implementation, and coordination of research projects.
  • Developing recruitment strategies, enrolling research participants in studies, and facilitating sample collection and distribution.
  • Assisting with remote and in-person recruitment and study visits, including visits involving behavioral testing, treatment trials, and other measures.
  • Collecting and recording study data from participant interviews and medical records, and assisting with the development and maintenance of study files and databases.
  • Coordinating and actively participating in team meetings and multi-site coordinator conference calls.
  • Participating in activities to ensure ongoing institutional and regulatory approval of studies including IRB submissions.
  • Providing assistance to PI and project managers with compilation of study progress reports and publications.
  • Coordinating between internal and external collaborators.

Minimum Qualifications
Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in health, psychology or related field
Experience:
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in relevant setting. Experience serving as a clinical research assistant desired.
  • Knowledge clinical research processes and best practices.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and multi-tasking abilities, with good attention to detail.
  • The ability to take initiative and work with minimal direct supervision.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with multi-disciplinary project teams.
  • Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.

The posted pay range is Boston Children's reasonable and good-faith expectation for this pay at the time of posting.

Any base pay offer provided depends on skills, experience, education, certifications, and a variety of other job-related factors.
