Reporting to Integrated Manufacturing Solutions Group Sales leadership, has account management leadership and responsibility for key accounts . This position will manage accounts direct or do dotted line Vice President of Sales . The Dir will research, identify profiles, prioritize, and penetrate IMS accounts. The Dir will support and guide regional BDMs globally with IMS accounts and bids/proposals. The Dir will support initiatives and will manage the customer executive relationships. Works closely with Plant Management, Program Managers (PMs), Global Account Managers (GAMs), Engineering, & Operations Executive. Provides leadership to BDMs & PMs to ensure realistic customer expectations, operational performance, and that program-related decisions, schedules, and budgets are guided by the terms and conditions of the contractual agreement(s). Oversees communications with Sanmina plants to ensure products have a smooth and timely progression throughout all phases of the business transfer and ramp to production. Oversees the gathering of site operations data and performance metrics and effective site-level materials management and production scheduling. Responsible for metrics, monitoring and managing actions to close all financial gaps.Understands and presents Sanmina offerings for end-to-end solutions and directs customers appropriately towards additional or alternative Sanmina components, products, and services.

NATURE OF DUTIES:



  • Director, Account Management- is responsible to support upfront Sales/Proposal activity as well as overseas on-boarding programs globally.
  • Acts as Account's senior liaison between customer and Sanmina sites, ensuring BDMs, GAMs, and site Program Managers to deliver accurate information.
  • Develop and oversee implementation of comprehensiveaccount strategy, while identifying, managing, and coordinating internal resources to achieve alignment with strategy.
  • Responsible for the creation and management of appropriately scoped, detailed project plan that is aligned with the Manufacturing Services Agreement (MSA).
  • Oversee successful customer Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) preparation and delivery.
  • Oversee and solutions gaps in Customer Request Dates and Plant Commit Dates.
  • Effectively oversee pricing, E&O , NRE, ECOs, and other activities of financial impact and mitigate risk, reduce exposure, and drive healthy overall customer P&L.
  • Ensures Sugar, STAR, and SPARC accuracy on a bi-weekly basis.
  • Manage toTerms & Conditions and ensure correct terms and conditions are being adhered to by both Sanmina and customer.
  • Must be able to highlight major problem areas, issues, concerns and escalate to executive management for engagement and resolution.
  • Oversee regular customer-site team calls comprising multiple time zones to ensure effective communications, program organization, and optimal performance.
  • Manages oversight of VAVE (cost reduction projects) performance, as applicable.
  • Domestic and global occasional international travel is required.



EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

- BA or BS qualified, MBA preferred

- 12+ years Account or Operations Management

- Strong project management skills with excellent ability to prioritize, multi-task, and organize

- Experience managing cross functionalteams

- Experience working with remote teams

- Experience with executive management communications and reporting

- Experience in Operations/Manufacturing with an understanding of global supply chains

- - Excellent MS Office skills; MS PowerPoint and MS Project Expertise is required

- Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills

Salary Range(annual): $120,000 - $180,000 . Actual base pay within this range (determined at the offer stage) will be based on a candidate's years of relevant work experience, education, certifications, and skills, and is just one element of our total rewards package. The total rewards package also includes a variety of benefits, including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business and, depending on the role, may include eligibility for restricted stock unit awards and participation in a discretionary bonus program.
