UVA Health is seeking an experienced and strategic leader to serve as Director of Patient Access Revenue Cycle, responsible for overseeing patient-facing access functions that directly impact revenue cycle performance across the Health System, including the Medical Center (MC) and University Physicians Group (UPG).
This role serves as the operational and strategic lead for front-end revenue cycle operations, ensuring efficient patient access, strong financial performance, and an exceptional patient experience. The Director partners closely with leaders across scheduling, billing, clinical operations, and financial services to optimize front-end revenue cycle performance and strengthen patient financial outcomes. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in healthcare revenue cycle operations, strong leadership capabilities, and a collaborative approach to driving operational excellence in a complex healthcare environment. Key Responsibilities Minimum Qualifications PHYSICAL DEMANDS This is primarily a sedentary job involving extensive use of desktop computers. The job does occasionally require traveling some distance to attend meetings, and programs. The starting base rate for this role is $95,019.00 annually.
