About the Position...

The Client Relationship Manager (CRM) III is responsible for fostering meaningful, collaborative, and effective relationships that reflect respect, integrity, and excellence with clients, colleagues, and the management team. The CRM III is a senior relationship manager responsible for developing new relationships with prospective clients and identifies the financial needs of clients, matches those needs with the wide range of Bank products and services that include extensions of commercial and/or real estate credits, demand, savings or time deposit account products or other services. Ensuring client satisfaction, the CRM III is responsible for larger and more complex loans and all aspects of loans including CRE, C&I, Construction, Lines of Credit, Letters of Credit, Government Guaranteed Loans, and other commercial loans. With the support of the Regional Team Lead or Director of Lending and CRA Officer, the CRM III will assess the credit needs within the Bank's market assessment areas by establishing relationships with community organizations, leaders, and businesses to seek out potential CRA eligible lending opportunities. Additionally, the CRM III will develop and successfully execute an outreach program with specific emphasis on CRA qualified loans (small business and community development loans), as well as loans to majority minority businesses and geographic locations. With high attention to detail, they are responsible for analyzing all client loan requests, determining whether a loan is within an acceptable risk per the Bank's framework, and for preparing and submitting the required documents for the approval process. The CRM III manages and grows large loan and deposit relationships, expands current services offered to their existing high-valued clients, and provides exemplary services to those clients by delivering regular support that includes regular contact, coordinating loan activities, monitoring loan payments, and completing financial analysis. The CRM III represents the Bank professionally and positively through their involvement in local, civic, social and professional organizations and frequents local events. Tailored to their assigned region, the CRM III designs business development plans and marketing strategies to meet client goals and the increasing business goals. The CRM III is adaptable and assists the Regional Team Lead or Director of Lending and the Lending team with other duties as assigned. The CRM III demonstrates accountability and performs all duties accurately, timely, efficiently, and according to Bank policies, procedures, regulatory guidelines, and SBA Standard Operating Procedures.

Education & Certification(s) Required:



  • Bachelors Degree in Business, or related field, preferred.


Knowledge Required:



  • Extensive knowledge of banking and lending operations and procedures, as well as the various regulations and standard banking practices.
  • Strong knowledge of CRA eligible relationships and regulations.
  • Extensive knowledge of loan products, including CRE, C&I, Construction, and Lines of Credit and Government Guaranteed Lending Products.


Experience Required:



  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in the financial services industry.
  • Minimum of 5 years of sales, networking, and client relationship-building experience.
  • Proven experience in meeting production goals.
