Responsibilities
- Design, build, and manage scalable, highly available, and secure cloud infrastructure in AWS and Azure.
- Linux administration in a cloud environments.
- Implement and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, ARM/Bicep, or CloudFormation.
- Automate system deployment, configuration, patching, and monitoring using Ansible, SSM, Azure Automation, etc.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize cloud environments using CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, Log Analytics.
- Manage identity and access controls, enforce security best practices, and remediate vulnerabilities.
- Support application teams with cloud infrastructure needs including networking, performance tuning, and CI/CD integration.
- Participate in on-call rotation and incident response for critical cloud infrastructure issues.
Qualifications
- Experience in AWS and/or Azure cloud infrastructure design, implementation, and managing automation solutions using Ansible.
- Linux administration in a cloud environments.
- Strong scripting skills in Bash, PowerShell, or Python.
- Working knowledge of cloud security (e.g., IAM, Defender for Cloud, GuardDuty).
- Experience with monitoring and alerting tools (CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, Dynatrace, ScienceLogic1).
- Understanding of networking fundamentals (DNS, subnets, firewalls, load balancers).
Preferred Qualifications
- AWS or AZURE Cloud Certifications (highly preferred).
- Experience with hybrid cloud or cloud migration projects.
- Familiarity with ITSM tools like ServiceNow.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
- Self-starter with ability to work independently and mentor junior team members.
- Collaborative mindset and ability to work in cross-functional teams.
Education:
- Master's degree in computer science, electronics engineering or related technical discipline and 10+ years' work experience.
- Ten (10) years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for education (20 years total).
