Who We Are ...

SourceAmerica is searching for an Federal Contracts Manager, Products to join its team, focused on providing contract management support for AbilityOne assigned Nonprofit Agencies (NPAs) and associated projects, or assigned Lines of Business, or Federal or Other Customers. Increase employment opportunities by ensuring stakeholder satisfaction. Develop and expand existing opportunities. Promote the AbilityOne Program and assist NPAs, Federal Contracting Activities, and Other Customers in maintaining program and statutory compliance. Maintain knowledge of the AbilityOne Program. May include assistance in federal contracting, price development, and coordination of business operations and processes to ensure timely delivery of quality products/services.

Your Impact ...

Customer Relationships and Account Growth

  • Oversee all assigned customer account activities as detailed in the standard operating procedures.
  • Strengthen the AbilityOne program, either through preservation of existing contracts or developing product/service expansions resulting in sustained increases in jobs and sales.
  • Maintain either an awareness of NPA capabilities to support creating new contract opportunities or an awareness of Customer needs (Federal or Other Customer), to support development and/or expansion of existing Procurement List (PL) opportunities. Also maintain an awareness of matters related to the AbilityOne Program.
  • May provide consultation about NPA capability for additional products/services proposed for expansions or additions to the PL.
  • May identify and refer for business development new requirements for the PL.
  • Market the AbilityOne Program by supporting and/or conducting presentations and/or briefings to Procuring or Service Provider Activities and coordinate and/or participate in marketing events.

Budget Oversight

  • Exercise financial stewardship with company resources.

AbilityOne Program Support

  • Account management of assigned AbilityOne NPAs, Lines of Business, Customers, Federal or Other Customers, and/or associated projects. Examples include coordinating all activities with stakeholders, monitoring the status of open actions and files.
  • Act as primary Point of Contact (POC) for all assigned actions with NPA, Contracting Activity (CA), Other Customers or U.S. AbilityOne Commission.

Project and Performance Management

  • Provide products related expert support regarding contracting, AbilityOne Program, pricing, Federal Acquisition
  • Regulations (FAR), and relationship management.
  • May provide support to NPAs, internal customers, and/ or Contracting Activity regarding the development of price proposals.
  • Monitor contract performance through frequent, meaningful engagement, including interactions, conducting site visits, attending performance meetings, quality assessment, and coordinating technical assistance, or providing support to the appropriate team as needed.

Salary Range

The salary for this position falls in a range between $80,000- $95,000 depending on your experience and geographic location in the United States.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Associates' degree in accounting or a relevant field of study from an accredited institution instead of applicable skills training.
  • 2+ years of relevant work experience federal contracting, federal billing, federal procurement process, federal supply schedule, customer support, account management or similar.
  • Understand the technical requirements of our customers and work closely with the internal development teams to guide the direction of product services.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field of study from an accredited institution.
  • 5+ years of relevant work experience in federal contracts management.
  • Knowledge of SourceAmerica and the AbilityOne Program.
  • Experience in networking, negotiation, decision making, and problem-solving.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to relate the strategy to operational plans.
  • Able to work with minimal oversight and supervision while getting results and managing the book of business.
  • Knowledge of the Federal acquisition process and procedures include the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), Code of Federal Regulations (CFAR), JWOD Act, and AbilityOne policies and procedures.
  • Ability to facilitate discussions with diverse points of view; and apply good judgment to situations without perfect information.
  • We use Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) as our primary business application system for much of our office processes- experience with D365 or using similar methods is preferred.

Work Environment

Our organization offers both a hybrid work model-where employees work in our office two to three days per week and work from home the balance of the workweek-as well as a fully remote work model, depending on the job requirements.
