What to Expect
As aSecurity Service Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the operational availabilityofTesla'sphysical security systems. Tesla'sSecurity Team is responsible for securing a complex mix of manufacturing, retail, and corporatefacilities that provide a variety of physical and technical challenges. You will apply your technical skills to ensure that global technology standards are maintained, and critical issues are resolved in a rapid manner. Newly commissioned sites will be transitioned to you and your team to maintain system uptimes until site closure.
What You'll Do
- Manage the intake of all service issues and end user requests within SLAs
- Provide initial review of all systems-related issues and ensure that initial trouble shooting is completed prior to dispatching field engineers
- Provides clear and accurate directions to field engineering teams identifying site deficiencies and directions on how to remediate deficiencies
- Works closely with Security Engineering programming and commissioning teams ensuring that new sites are reviewed and validated prior to transfer of responsibility
- Provides consultancy service to Project Managers to audit sites and provides data on non-compliant sites
- Identify opportunities to improve operational processes and performance, reducing time to resolve and help increase service efficiency
- Maintain system site documentationincluding service history, invoice management, site installation and service photos
- Help to create and maintain knowledge database ensuring that all team members have access to relevant and accurate information
What You'll Bring
- 3-5+years of experience programming and commissioning or designing, installing, and maintaining technical security systemsfor corporate, manufacturing, and retail facilities
- Expert knowledge of low voltage electrical systems, video management systems, access control systems, and other technical security systems and devices
- Experience with industry standardinstallationtools and safety practices
- Able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and navigate through an ambiguous environment; enjoys challenges
- Highly organized, with solid time management skills and acute attention to detail preferred
- Technical security system certifications (I.e. Lenel, Genetec, C-Cure, S2, Avigilon, Genetec) and/or related IT (i.e. CCNA) certifications preferred
- Global travel required as needed
