The Vendor Specialist will work closely with the Director, Partnerships and Alliances, and the Program Manager to ensure that all aspects of the vendor management lifecycle are managed in a coordinated, efficient, and organized manner. Important components include maintaining and leveraging the contract management system for reporting purposes, monitoring the performance of vendor contracts, ensuring the receipt of required reports, and tracking privacy and security controls for vendors.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities: *Maintain accuracy and completeness of the contract management system *Develop and maintain a comprehensive database of vendor contracts *Design process flows and evaluate efficiencies *Work with internal contacts to resolve technical issues *Manage Vendor Management SharePoint site o Work to improve the functionality and ease of use of the site o Load and update reference documents as necessary o Manage Access as needed *Oversee vendor service levels and performance guarantees *Assist with the renewal and termination process for contracts utilizing automated notice functions and manual follow-up as needed *Hold self and others accountable to meet commitments. *Persist in accomplishing objectives to consistently achieve results despite any obstacles and setbacks that arise. *Build strong relationships and infrastructures that designate Mass General Brigham Health Plan as a people-first organization. *Other duties as assigned with or without accommodation.
