Jackson Healthcare is seeking a ServiceNow Platform Owner & Architect to join our Enterprise Applications team. This role serves as both the owner of the platform and lead architect, and is accountable for the technical ownership, health, and evolution of the ServiceNow platform, ensuring it is reliable, scalable, and aligned with business needs across our operating companies. This role partners closely with business stakeholders, application teams, and technical administrators to deliver high value workflows while maintaining strong platform governance and sustainability. ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Platform Ownership & Architecture

  • Serve as the technical platform owner, acting as the primary subject matter expert and steward of the platform standards and long-term health

  • Define and enforce platform standards, design patterns, and best practices

  • Partner with business owners to design scalable, maintainable solutions aligned to enterprise needs

  • Evaluate and recommend platform enhancements and prepare budget guidance accordingly

Platform Engineering & Delivery

  • Design, build, and maintain ServiceNow configurations, customizations, and integrations

  • Provide architectural guidance and hands-on expertise for complex implementations

  • Ensure platform solutions are secure, performant, and upgrade-ready

Platform Health & Operations

  • Accountable for platform stability, availability, and performance

  • Lead root-cause analysis and remediation for recurring or complex platform issues

  • Support and mentor administrators and support teams in daily platform operations

Collaboration & Continuous Improvement

  • Collaborate closely with ServiceNow administrators and engineers to share knowledge, reinforce best practices, and ensure a consistent and maintainable platform implementation

  • Identify opportunities to improve user experience, operational efficiency, and platform adoption

  • Stay current on ServiceNow capabilities and recommend enhancements where business value exists

QUALIFICATIONS - EDUCATION, WORK EXPERIENCE, CERTIFICATIONS:

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience

  • 12+ years of SaaS-related technical management experience

  • 7+ years of hands-on ServiceNow platform experience in a multi-entity, multi-module environment

  • 5+ years leading technical teams, architects, or platform engineers

Certifications

  • ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (required)

  • ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (required)

  • ServiceNow Certified Technical Architect (preferred)

  • Additional ServiceNow and ITIL certifications (preferred)

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

ServiceNow Platform Expertise

  • ServiceNow administration, configuration, and development (Business Rules, Flow Designer, UI, Client Scripts, Security)

  • CMDB design and implementation experience

  • ITSM concepts and ITIL practices

Technical Skills

  • ServiceNow scripting and APIs (JavaScript, Glide APIs)

  • Systems integrations (REST, SOAP, MID Server)

  • Reporting, dashboards, and performance metrics

Professional Skills

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

  • Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders

  • Experience working in collaborative, cross-functional teams

  • Comfortable leading technical discussions and influencing design decisions
