What you'll do:

As a full-time optometrist, you'll work Monday through Thursday from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and Fridays from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Each optometrist follows a 25-slot exam template, with a reduced 22-slot exam template on Fridays, ensuring you can provide thorough, attentive, and patient-focused care. In this role, you will provide comprehensive eye exams, recommend vision-enhancing solutions, and promote long-term eye health through patient education, all while following an accommodative exam template that allows for an engaged and unrushed experience. Job Specifications

Typically has the following skills or abilities:

Doctor of Optometry degree, O.D. including Third Party Administrator (TPA) certificate of licensure

1-3 years of clinical practice experience with current knowledge of Optometric technology and practices; new graduates are encouraged to apply

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Strong management, leadership, and organizational skills

Strong business aptitude, self-discipline, and ability to deliver outstanding patient service

Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment in the performance of his/her job duties

Working Conditions

The working environment is generally favorable, lighting and temperature are adequate, and there are no hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, etc.
