Now, we're entering a new phase of growth and are looking for aSenior People Operations Partner to join our People Team. This role will serve as a trusted operational partner across PDW, helping ensure our People programs run smoothly as the company continues to scale. In this role, you will help design and operate the systems, processes, and operational standards that support employees across the full lifecycle; from onboarding through career growth and transitions.
This is a highly hands-on role ideal for someone who enjoys being a builder; someone who takes ownership of operational challenges, improves systems and processes, and works closely with leaders and employees to ensure the People function runs reliably and efficiently. The role combines day-to-day operational execution with process improvement and operational problem solving in a fast-moving environment.
In this role, you'll report to the Head of People Operations & Technology and work closely with People Business Partners, Total Rewards, Talent Acquisition, and cross-functional leaders across PDW. Occasional travel between locations may be required. What You'll Do
- Execution and continuous improvement of employee lifecycle operations including onboarding, job changes, employee development, leave administration, and offboarding
- Creation and operation of the People Support Desk, serving as the operational front door for employee HR requests
- Ongoing optimization of AI-enabled workflows for the People Support Desk and broader People Team technology stack
- Ownership of compliance processes and/or vendors including I-9 verification, background checks, workforce documentation, and policy adherence
- Oversight and audit of payroll inputs and employee data changes in partnership with Finance
- Support for mobility and immigration processes as PDW expands internationally
- Oversight of accurate and audit-ready employee records and workforce documentation
- Partnership with People Business Partners on employee relations matters and policy guidance
- Operational support for global workforce expansion including coordination of new entities and workforce administration processes
- Collaboration with Total Rewards on operational aspects of benefits administration and employee inquiries
- Execution of employee engagement initiatives and internal programs that reinforce PDW culture
- Identification and implementation of process improvements that strengthen operational efficiency across the People function
- Drive adoption and effective use of HR systems, processes, and tools across the organization
- Drive people integration activities during M&A, including HRIS setup, benefits transitions, and new hire onboarding for acquired employees
Requirements
- 7-10 years of experience in People Operations, HR Operations, or HR Generalist roles
- Strong understanding of employee lifecycle administration and HR compliance requirements
- Experience supporting multi-state or international workforces
- Strong judgment when handling sensitive employee matters
- Highly receptive and open mindset toward the use of AI in HR and Talent Acquisition
- Ability to operate effectively in a fast-growing environment with evolving processes
- Strong organization, follow-through, and operational discipline
Physical Requirements The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. Ability to sit, stand, bend, reach, climb, and move about regularly throughout the day and lift / carry up to 25 pounds. Must have manual dexterity to operate standard office equipment as well as manufacturing and test equipment, industrial computers, HMIs, and handheld diagnostic tools. Must be physically capable of walking production floors, accessing equipment in constrained spaces, participating in factory acceptance testing, and supporting on-site system deployments. Work Environment This position typically operates in a standard office setting and manufacturing environment. This role requires use of standard office equipment and may involve exposure to manufacturing equipment, automated machinery, test systems, and industrial materials. This position may have exposure to outdoor weather conditions, noise, and non-climate-controlled environments. May require the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) depending on the environment. This is a fast-paced work environment and requires cross-departmental collaboration with independent and team-based responsibilities. Standard work hours for this position are 8:30am-5:00pm, Monday through Friday, with occasional overtime as operational needs demand.
