Genesis10 is currently seeking an IT Business Analyst for a hybrid position with a Global Financial Institution located in Charlotte, NC or Plano, TX. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity with 3 days onsite per week required. This role assists in the execution of Enterprise Data Management Standards and/or Global Records Management Standards, along with data quality and control practices. The candidate will function as a liaison between data stewards and data management stakeholders, identify gaps in standards adherence, and work with partners to develop plans to close those gaps. This position is responsible for data monitoring and controls across the Global Technology domains. Responsibilities: Serve as a subject matter expert for adherence with Enterprise Data Management (EDM) and Global Records Management (GRM) standards Partner with leadership to provide oversight and create action plans to address remediation gaps in standards adherence Facilitate annual standards and adherence inspections and engage appropriate stakeholders Educate, report on, and monitor EDM/GRM standards adherence Research and resolve data metric breaches Monitor existing and new business processes, risks, and controls to improve out-of-tolerance conditions Partner with stakeholders to perform quality assurance assessments and identify and remediate gaps Requirements: Bachelor's degree 5+ years of financial industry experience, preferably in a Finance, Tech, or Data role Detail-oriented with the ability to handle a variety of tasks in a self-directed manner Highly organized with the ability to prioritize work, manage complexity, and deliver solutions on deadlines Excellent verbal and written communication skills Experience in performing data analysis tasks Demonstrated intellectual curiosity and accuracy with the ability to research issues and identify root causes and patterns Strong collaboration and teamwork skills Proficiency with spreadsheets (MS Excel), MS Access, Visual Basic for MS PowerPoint, and SharePoint Desired skills: Experience with Enterprise Data Management (EDM) and/or Global Records Management (GRM) policies and standards Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
