ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Perform transaction review on a daily basis
  • Reconcile initiated transactions against bank data
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly client-facing reports and presentations for various business units
  • Perform quality reviews to ensure data accuracy and minimize risk
  • Apply business judgment to identify unusual activities and escalate issues as appropriate
  • Drive Organizational Change: Review existing team processes to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for automation or streamlining. Serve as a subject matter expert to external partners and efficiently communicate project updates to internal stakeholders.
  • Control & Compliance: Ensure effective and consistent compliance with control procedures, risk controls, and high-quality assurance standards. Review, update, and create procedures.



BASIC QUALIFICATIONS



  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 0-2 years of relevant professional experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with a strong emphasis on Excel.



PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS



  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
  • Data analytic skills and problem-solving ability
  • Finance and/or accounting experience
  • Payment processing experience
  • Ability to remain composed under pressure and adapt in a fast-changing environment
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills and a proactive, team-oriented approach


Salary Range

The expected base salary for this Albany, New York, United States-based position is $50000-$72000. In addition, you may be eligible for a discretionary bonus if you are an active employee as of fiscal year-end.
